Silvertung – “Out Of The Box” Review

I never know what I am going to get in my inbox when it comes to reviews. Silvertung was a surprise. It took me back to some old school metal with grinding riffs and hard hitting double bass. Sprinkled with a little bit of new age production and I have to say Devil’s Advocate was my favorite track on this release. It hit hard and heavy with that sexy and evil melodic that all metal heads crave. I will be on the watch now for more from them and am curious to see how they take off with this release. I know that many of us are craving a touch of that “retro” meets “now” feel and I think they are well on their way to giving us that glorious mix. It’s worth a listen or three in my book.
