The sophomore album from Maryland's Silvertung is definitely worth a listen. Crunching riffs, catchy songs, commanding vocals and enough riffs to slay a dragon are just some of the positives you instantly get when listening to 'Devil's In The Details'.
Whilst nothing on here is new or genre breaking, you can't help but get caught up in their whirlwind of metal and rock. Like a grungeless Godsmack ('Coming Alive') or a heavier Shinedown, this band ticks all the boxes for rockers around the world.
No frills rock is sometimes the hardest to pull off but this band simply knock that thought out of the park and have released 11 tracks of easily listenable and memorable songs that chug and swirl in your head long after you've stopped listening. Anthems such as 'Daddy's Little Girl' or 'Sucker Punch' cannot help but command your attention and you know that these tracks will be a crowd singing bombast of great proportions.
They seemingly already have all the tools to move forward and if you stuck this band on at a festival such as Download then they wouldn't feel or sound out of place and that's the largest compliment I can pay them. You won't be disappointed by this band or this album.
