Review: Silvertung - Out of the Box
When releasing an EP or a smaller album containing six songs its best to grab the attention of your listener as soon as possible. “Face the Music” grabs you by the throat and drags you into the rest of the album from SILVERTUNG. Out Of The Box is an assortment of metal arrangements sounding similar to Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, and Otherwise that keep you begging for more.
After winning Breakout Artist and Best Heavy Metal Artist at the Maryland Music Awards, SILVERTUNG poured everything into this album leaving nothing behind.
“Face the Music” has been shredding up the charts, but this is not the only song that the band shreds on. “Never Too Late” and “Devil’s Advocate” help demonstrate the bands insane guitar work by Codey while “Ain’t That A Bitch” shows just how bassist Skoot and drummer Danno can hang as well.
Lead singer Speed seems to draw comparison to Avenged Sevenfold’s lead singer M. Shadows and Disturbed’s lead singer David Draiman.
In the final song on this very high paced, heart pounding album Speed shows off just how good his vocal cords are in “You & Me.” His gravelly voice mixed with the relaxing nature of this ballad set it apart from the whole album and close it off perfectly. Check out the band that is climbing up the Under the Radar charts and Billboards BDS Rock Radio Chart.
